Our Story

Driven by a vision to uphold the integrity of sport and safeguard athlete health, Qatar established the Anti-Doping Lab Qatar (ADLQ) as a preeminent regional and global hub for excellence in anti-doping science.

2007

Milestone 1

GCC leaders endorsed the establishment of Anti-Doping Lab Qatar during the 28th GCC Summit

2011

Milestone 2

ADLQ was established as an independent entity overseen by a board of trustees by Emiri Decision No (14) of 2011

2013

Milestone 3

ADLQ received full ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation

2015

Milestone 4

ADLQ achieved WADA Accreditation serving the Middle East and the region
